The State of the Arab Nation, 2016-2017: Permanent Conflicts and Fatal Penetrations

The Center for Arab Unity Studies publishes the State of the Arab Nation report annually. This year’s edition (2016 – 2017) comes under extremely difficult Arab circumstances, which are covered in a report and analysis, covering major developments and events in the Arab world, whether at the level of societal developments, political, economic, social and security, or at the level of relations between the various countries, or at the level of interaction of the Arab situation in the regional and international frameworks. The book focuses on the transformation of the international system and the foreign policies of the major countries and their effects in the Arab world, the increasing role and influence of the regional neighbors, especially Turkey and Iran, in the Arab internal situation, the basic features and issues of the Arab system, and the changing issues in the priorities of the parties of this system, as well as internal developments.
