The Crisis of Establishing the Contemporary Arab State: A Critical Approach to the Concept of Reform and the Problem of Rational Integration

This book deals with one of the most challenging issue facing the Arab region since the end of the Second World War. It delves into the historical phase that accompanied the construction of the model of the contemporary Arab state, and the current issues that prevail with the establishment of a stable government. The scale of this crisis is of national, national and international levels considering that interactions of these states are very much alive, but the outcomes of their actions are unpredictable and open to various possibilities; which renders it an immediate issue that needs to be dealt promptly, so that it does not pervade in the future of states, political systems, and higher national interests. If political reform is the broad manifestation of the intervention of foreign powers in Arab nations, their actual content undoubtedly extends beyond its intended political purposes, that is, to create shifts in the course of the developments of major events that took place at the end of the twentieth century and the beginnings of the twenty-first century, insofar the dynamics of international relations and their struggles within the region are reflected.
