The Center for Arab Unity Studies Published the book “The Creation of Wealth and Poverty: Means and Ways” by Hassan Bougrine.
This book presents an integrated program and an elaborate plan to move our Arab societies from dependency and underdevelopment to freedom and prosperity. It is a book with practical proposals for the development of economic policies that enable our societies to eradicate poverty, inequality, social justice, progress and prosperity. By analyzing the economic trajectory of modern societies and studying their political systems, the author has been able to identify the origin of ills such as the causes of poverty, unemployment and underdevelopment, as well as the requirements for wealth, full employment and progress.
Accordingly, the book explains how the state can create and distribute wealth equitably among all members of society by using its central bank and pursuing certain economic and social policies. It also stresses that the independence of the national government and its sovereignty in the financial field are essential to remove all budgetary constraints and enable the government to finance all development projects, from investment in infrastructure, through full employment policy, to investment in education, scientific research and innovation to achieve Technological and industrial progress.
The book includes seven chapters, as well as an introduction, references and index.
