The Impact of Regional Variables on Gulf Development: «Normalization»
as a Model………………………………………………….
Hassan Al-Ashmar        7

This study inspects the Gulf Cooperation Council countries interest in the development process through examining the «visions» formulated by each country, and how such visions might unfold or be integrated in light of structural similarities and common economic and security challenges. The study also sheds light on the Gulf countries efforts to utilize normalization agreements with the Zionist entity in enhancing their own development process. The study attempts to reveal to what extent normalization impacts the development process in the Gulf region, and whether it is appropriate for these countries to bet on it in hopes of achieving development, all while Israel further securing its presence and influence in the region at the expense of the Arab countries, their stability, future and national security.

Popular movement in Algeria 2019: Can the Voice of a Marginalized
Community Be Heard?………………………………….
Mustafa Bousboua       27

This study examines and analyzes the role of marginalized football fans (also known as Ultras) in Algeria’s 2019 popular movements, through analyzing the narratives (songs, hymns) produced by such fans whether prior to or during movements. Where the voices of the marginalized society in Algeria heard? This study argues that for these marginalized segments, the popular movements were a means to be reintegrated within the crucible of society. Especially so after an Ultra song had become a major icon of the movements, which had a major impact in halting illegal immigration. Yet this matter did not last long and withered with the decline of the popular movements.

Land confiscation during the British Mandate and Israeli settler
colonialism in Palestine…………………………… Ruba Oubada Masodat      42

Land has always been of great importance in the Palestinian cause, especially since the Zionist occupation adopted land confiscation policies to bring about demographic change. The British Mandate era over Palestine is considered one of the most dangerous historical stages for the Palestinian territories, as Britain pledged to create a national home for the Jews in Palestine. Accordingly, Britain enacted and manipulated laws to serve Zionist goals in Palestine. This era’s importance is highlighted by the emergence of laws and legislations to organize lands in Palestine, which gave the High Commissioner the right to dispose of Palestinian lands, which later gave way to Israeli settler colonialism, a policy that remains the same till this day.

& Belimir Abderrazak…….. 59

Ever since the first industrial revolution, Capitalism has been in direct clash with nature and the workers, considering them as just THINGS. Thus, causing a great deal of misery to humans and nature as it adopted the following principle: «let it pass, let it pollute». Accordingly, the world was transformed into a global universal town under the standard of economic interdependence and capital accumulation to serve societies. The study argues how the capitalist system is an expansionist structure par excellence, as it denies equality and the sincere distribution of opportunities and wealth. The study also points out that governments are not the solution to our problem, in fact they are part of the problem. In the field of theology, the article deals with the antiquity of the world, a topic of much dispute, as Al-Ghazali declared that philosophers are infidels, pushing Ibn Rushd to respond back. Then came the issue of the miracle, which Ibn Rushd took a rather different approach from other previous theologians and philosophers.
