The first section of this book provides a detailed explanation of the neo-patrimonial model, both in its theoretical framework and its various applications in different regions of the world. The second section covers a case study on the Jordanian model, which represents one of the main Arab models of the neo-patrimonial system that at times manifests itself in a complete state of liberal openness , and at other times in a conservative way that is mindful of its own heritage, all the while ensuring that the essence of the existing system is preserved.
The research focuses on the nature of the political system in Jordan and attempts to reinterpret the intertwined political, social and economic phenomena at the social and government levels by examining the foundations of the Jordanian regime in its legitimacy, its relations and its nature using a historical approach that analyzes sequences of events and connects them to the concepts of the neo-petrimonial regime.
