Discussions were often raised and observations often made in various Arab circles about the representations of the Arab person in the American media, American attitudes towards Arabs and Muslims, and the extent of biases and prejudices against the Arabs. This book provides a detailed analysis of American opinion polls on Arabs and Muslim peoples since the beginning of World War II until today. It evaluates the results of approximately 35,000 questions posed to the American public during the period from 1935 (the professional start date of U.S. public opinion polls kept in public opinion databases or archives) until the end of July 2018.
The book, which consists of five volumes, provides a comprehensive overview of all the poll questions asked to the American public about each of the Arab and Islamic countries that the researcher had access to, and questions were formulated almost in full for each individual country, except for Iraq, which averted a large number of questions (approximately twenty thousand) from being displayed unnecessarily.
