⬜  The Geostrategic Positioning of Naval Forces in sites Bordering the Arab Region……………………… Abdul Rahim Rahmouni      10

The Arab region is one of the most prominent regions characterized by internal and external conflict, this is reinforced by the emergence of external actors as key players in the war and peace equation in the region. The study examines the nature of the Arab region and its centrality as a strategic maritime course for these actors, which are increasingly repositioning themselves in the region, and to know to which extent is the Arab region seen as a geopolitical-maritime hub in the eyes of other naval powers (American, Russian, Iranian, and Turkish). Finally, the study aims to analyze the impact of this region on the military starting points of these powers, and also answer several questions related to the reality of the Arab region in light of the Maritime Military strategies of these powers.

⬜  Moroccan-Gulf relations in light of global changes………. Rashid Baji      27

The Moroccan-Gulf relations seem to be among the most exciting inter-Arab relations. Morocco is the most geographically remote Arab country from the Arabian Gulf region. In terms of its population ethnicity, it is a mixture between Arabs and Berbers. Throughout history, the Maliki Doctrine was the dominant school of thought throughout the Moroccan kingdom. In contrast the Gulf region adopted the Hanbali Doctrine. However, the apparent factors of difference contributed to weaving distinct relations between the Moroccan Kingdom and the Arab Gulf countries. In general, the Moroccan policy coincided with the Gulf countries behavior, while Morocco retained political independence of its decision making and its positive neutrality, especially in internal Arab conflicts.

⬜  The Algerian popular movement between street opposition and the authority: logic and implications……………. Mokhtar Maroufel      48

The Algerian popular movement phenomenon cannot be answered without examining the bilateral dimension in which the authority and people meet as two opposites suffering from lack of trust between them. The study attempts to answer a number of anthropological dilemmas that are hidden behind the convictions and tools of both conflicting sides in an attempt to gain support and momentum. ⬜  The Palestinian national discourse on social networking sites: Facebook as a model………………………………………. Bassam Aweidah      79

Over the past sixty years, the Palestinian political field underwent various changes. Politics, like any other social phenomena, is subject to internal and external factors, influences, changes, and interventions. Perhaps the most prominent of these factors is the balance of power between both sides in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, the shifting of national stakes and projects on the Palestinian arena especially after Oslo, the formation of the Palestinian Authority and the changes in the national project, opting to a peaceful “settlement” rather than resistance. This study seeks to reveal the transformations that occurred in the Palestinian national discourse on the Facebook platform, study the content of this transformation and measure its impact, and the content of the national discourse on the Facebook communication platform.
