This book presents a critique of the sectarian model of society. All intellectual references agree that it is one of the classical publications in political thought which has made a considerable impact in studies and critiques of sectarianism. There is no doubt that the course of eventful changes and the many crises that afflicted Lebanon made it no better than what it used to be at the time of its independence.
