This book discusses the attempts of the Arab Gulf states in forming an influential lobby in the American political administration. The book explores various aspects of these attempts in order to identify the factors that led to the successes and failures in reaching their goals.
In this regard, the book undertakes two studies: the first discusses the successes of the Arab Gulf lobby in achieving its objectives, and the second covers the failures thereof. In both cases, the various factors involved in the lobbying process will be analyzed and will extract key elements that led to the successes and failures of the lobbying group. The book will examine related additional factors, such as the organization and effectiveness of the Arab American Community in the United States, the strategic value of the Arabian Gulf for the United States, as well as the negative portrayal of Arabs in America. The book also discusses the obstacles in establishing a Gulf-Arab lobby in the United States.
