It studies the philosophical starting points and the theoretical foundations on which the history of literature is based. The book reveals six philosophical theories on which the methodologies of the history of Arabic literature relied.<br \/>\nThe book deals with problems related to the methods of literary historiography, such as the chronological division, the artistic division, and according to literary schools.
